The 2019 LOVE Marlow Festival will once again be jam-packed, with community activities and promotions – including music, sport, workshops and kids’ events – as well as opportunities to spread kindness and help others around the Town.

TWO FREE FIRST AID EVENTS RUN BY CHILD MATTERS FOR OUR WONDERFUL COMMUNITY TO ENJOY:-
FREE FAMILY FIRST AID
Date: Wednesday 12th June
Venue: Christ Church URC, Oxford Road, Marlow SL7 2NL
Time: 09.30 – 11.00
How would you react to an emergency? This free, short course will provide information on how to cope with first aid emergencies. Topics covered include; coping with an emergency, recognising when to use the emergency services, baby/child/adult resuscitation, choking, burns, head injuries, and child-related conditions (fever, diarrhoea, vomiting, croup, anaphylaxis etc.). The aim of this course is to provide you with basic information that you can remember; it will also give you lots of confidence to cope with emergencies. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance, ‘Paediatric First Aid Made Easy’ manual, and useful hand-outs and material.

FREE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT & AED TRAINING EVENT
Date: Thursday 13th June
Venue: Christ Church URC, Oxford Road, Marlow SL7 2NL
Time: 19.00 – 20.30
It’s easy to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) – which can now be found in various locations around Marlow. Get to know how an AED works and you could save a life! This free, awareness session will give you confidence to use an AED in an emergency situation.
