Anaphylaxis is a major medical emergency. It is vital for anyone who may have to deliver emergency medication to have the appropriate Anaphylaxis training.
Anaphylaxis, Allergy & Asthma Awareness is suitable for schools, healthcare professionals, families, and any setting managing the risk of an anaphylactic emergency.
This 2.5 hour training is designed to give school staff the confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies involving Anaphylaxis or Asthma in line with Benedict’s Law.

Understand more about Anaphylaxis, how to recognise an Anaphylactic reaction and what you should do on a 2-3hr course dependent on numbers of attendees and previous experience. We offer a 100% classroom course for this and the certificate is valid for three years.
All schools will be required to have allergy awareness training in accordance with Benedicts Law. This course is suitable for any person who is involved in the administration of adrenaline pens (Automatic Adrenaline Injectors AAI’s) currently Epipen, Jext pen and the Emerade Pen and anyone who needs to be aware of the signs, symptoms, and treatment of anaphylactic allergic reactions. As well as recognition of signs, treatment, concerns and activating the EMS we focus on the care for the patient in the event of deterioration. Basic Life Support and CPR skills are taught and refreshed too.
