First Aid training aimed at staff in schools who may need to administer Paediatric First Aid to their students.
The First Aid for Schools course has been designed to cater for all school groups of different ages. We tailor the content to the environment and organisation’s needs. In most situations, the school would also need staff trained in 12 Hour Paediatric, EPFA, EFAW or FAW and then the school first aid course gives all other teachers and staff the awareness to talk or administer first aid if they were not the appointed first aider in the workplace, until further help arrives.
This first aid for schools course is designed to be used for training in schools, ideal for inset days and larger groups. It is very important that the teaching and support staff know basic first aid and this course covers all the basics.
All our first aid courses are overseen by ProTrainings and fully meet the latest UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements. The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
