Operation Ouch! is a BAFTA winning, critically acclaimed educational children’s show. Presented by Dr Chris, Dr Xand and Dr Ronx who experiment and explore their way through the fascinating world of medicine and biology.

One of the biggest and most popular parts of the show is the Ouch! Awards, which celebrates young people who have helped others in medical need, saved lives in an emergency, shown incredible courage living with their own medical condition, care for a relative or raised money for a charity to help others. It’s your chance to nominate and enter your child or a friend so they can celebrate their achievement.

IS YOUR CHILD A MEDICAL HERO?

So we’re asking you – do you know anyone aged between 6-16 yrs who is a medical hero?  Maybe your child came on a Child Matters Junior First Aid Course and has had to put that knowledge to the test? They could be showing incredible courage living with their own medical condition or care for a relative or have raised money for a charity to help others.

  (eg. For correctly administering first aid when someone needed help)
• OPERATION OUCH! LIFESAVER AWARD
  (eg. For calling 999 in an emergency and saving a life)
• OPERATION OUCH! BIG HEART AWARD
  (eg. For caring for a relative or campaigning for charity to help others)
• OPERATION OUCH! PERSONAL COURAGE AWARD
  (eg. For showing great courage in living with a medical condition or doing something extraordinary)
