BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
|Covering CPR, rescue breathing and how to deal with choking and drowning, this course provides essential advice. While assuring that such situations are rare, responding with confidence is key.Following the Resuscitation Council’s guidelines you will be taught easily remembered techniques practiced on dummies – so that you’ll feel fully confident in an emergency. And we always allow plenty of time to ask questions.The Baby and Child Resuscitation course is a must for new parents, whether you’re ante-natal, post-natal or looking after children of any age. Comprehensive course notes are handed out at the end of every course.
CHILDHOOD FIRST AID & ILLNESSES
|Our Basic Life Support course offers peace-of-mind for immediate, life-threatening scenarios, First Aid and Illnesses prepares you to deal with emergencies big or small, and often, when it’s your own child, nothing feels small!The first half of the course looks at childhood illnesses and covers what to do when confronted by meningitis, febrile convulsions and croup. Helpful tips ensure you feel confident when caring for your child even when minor illnesses occur such as coughs, colds, temperatures, rashes and tummy bugs. What medicines and useful aids should you keep to hand? How would you recognise the signs and symptoms of illnesses? When and where should you seek medical advice?Plus, vital information on dealing with burns, cuts, bruises, allergic reactions, ingestions and head injuries and what to keep in your First Aid Kit.

MUMS-TO-BE AND NEW MUMS
|This unique course is delivered by both a senior midwife and paediatric specialist, offering the most comprehensive learning to help you get the most out of parenting. Small babies are more than welcome to the session. Our flexible approach allows you to feed or change your baby while we teach – and you practice – your skills.
Our training also addresses bespoke and specialist courses in childcare subjects such as Safeguarding Awareness and Anaphylaxis & Epipens. On completion of these courses you will receive an A5 certificate. Course prices include certificates and easy to follow quick reference handouts.
